Why it works

You make the decisions. The agent does the typing.

The skill pack isn't a faster way to ask for an app. It's a method that keeps you in charge of what gets built โ€” and makes the result yours.

  1. 01

    Flipped interaction

Instead of you writing the perfect prompt, the agent interviews you โ€” one question at a time. The ideas and choices come from you.

  2. 02

    No cognitive debt

If an agent builds things you never thought through, you end up owning an app you don't understand. Planning together first keeps you the owner.

  3. 03

    Documents are memory

Agents forget between conversations. scope.md, prd.md, spec.md and checklist.md carry every decision forward, so a fresh chat loses nothing.

  4. 04

    Small, reviewed steps

Build one working slice, check it, commit it, repeat. Problems show up early, and there is always a version that works.

Who makes the decisions?

Drag each decision to AI or to You and watch the app change. Keyboard: Tab to a card, Space to pick it up, arrow keys to move, Space to drop.

Tips for using the skill pack well

Small habits that make the difference between a generic app and one that's truly yours.

  • Use speech-to-text

Speaking is about three times faster than typing. Longer, more natural answers give the agent much more of you to work with.

  • Let the agent interview you

Answer in full sentences with examples and reasons. "I don't know yet" is a fine answer โ€” the agent will help you think it through.

  • /clear between steps

Start each skill in a fresh conversation. Everything important is already written in devpost/, so nothing is lost.

  • Watch your usage

Long conversations use more of your plan. Clearing between steps and keeping the proof of concept small keeps costs down.

  • Ask for inspiration

Stuck on a look or a feature? Ask the agent to research similar products and show you options โ€” then you pick.

  • Review at every checkpoint

Open the app and actually try it when the agent pauses. Catching a problem in a small slice is cheap.

  • Never commit secrets

API keys belong in .env, which git ignores. devpost/learner-profile.md is personal and stays out of your public repo.

  • Write your own submission

The project story on Devpost is yours to write. The agent can point out gaps and fix spelling, not write it for you.
